Two Brothers Comp-S 2-Into-1 Exhaust For Harley Davidson

Overall best

Two Brothers Comp-S brings explosive torque, a screaming sound and one of the most lightweight exhausts on the market while still maintaining superb build quality and a sleek aesthetic. Our only gripe with this beauty was it costs a pretty penny and performance gains lessen in the higher ranges.

The Comp S 2 into 1 design is sleek and compact, the pipes are more narrow, shedding away even more weight and further improving torque but also performance across the board. We managed to shed half the weight off our stock exhaust, it’s superb weight reduction is further improved by combining stainless steel and carbon fiber, if you’re switching from stock you will immediately notice the power differences between the two.

The piping and the muffler contrast each other nicely, giving it both a unique design and excellent sound. This exhaust is extremely loud because of how the muffler is shaped, at idle it’s quiet but as soon as you play with the throttle it roars to life. The sound itself is a raw heavy noise but not obnoxious enough to get on your nerves after a long ride.

Pros
  • Fully synthetic engine oil
  • Suitable for high temperature use
  • Ester material is used
  • Stainless steel tubing
  • Carbon fiber end cap
  • Overwhelmingly positive customer reviews
  • Super torque gains
  • Hand welded
  • Superb build quality
  • Easy instructions
  • Made in the USA
  • Cone megaphone muffler
  • Convenient fitment
Cons
  • Pricey
  • Installation was a little tricky
  • Lacks heat shields
  • Instructions could be better

Bassani Road Rage III 2-into-1 Exhaust

Best Budget

The Bassani Road Rage III is a sweet looking 2 into 1 exhaust that sheds away a lot of weight while massively boosting the amount of torque for your Harley. While still maintaining top notch build quality and longevity, our only gripe was it’s lack of heat shields and instructions.

Like most two into one exhausts the Road Rage III leans heavily on amplifying the torque of your Harley from it’s short length and narrow diameter of the piping, these performance gains are enhanced further from the inner collector around the midsection of the piping. This helps to funnel glasses more effectively and also gives the exhaust one mighty roar.

Expect huge weight improvements if you’re switching out a standard stock exhaust because you’re going from a 2-into-2, to a 2-into-1 exhaust, but also the Road Rage has a very compact design made from stainless steel which compounds these already impressive weight reductions. The piping is also more narrow in diameter which all contribute to power improvements across the board for your Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The matte black finish was our personal favorite in terms of looks, the overall design is quite nice and the contrast between the muffler and pipes give the Road Rage a unique feel. More importantly the sound is a throaty roar that’s quite similar to the Comp-S, not surprisingly since they’re both so similarly designed.

Unfortunately the Road Rage doesn’t include heat shields that cover the entire piping and muffler, it’s only partially covered, while not a major problem it does mean there’s going to be more excess heat around your foot areas and other important components. We also found the instructions not to be the best, but there’s so many tutorials on youtube to install this thing it wasn’t a problem.

Pros
  • Great improves smoothness of the ride
  • Sweet aesthetics
  • Built from top quality stainless steel
  • Massive weight reductions
  • Quieter baffles available
  • Partial heat shields
  • Hand welded
  • Made in USA
  • Greatly improved ground clearance
  • Cone megaphone muffler
  • Inner collector provides even more power
  • Great customer reviews
Cons
  • Pricey
  • Isn’t entirely covered by heat shields
  • Poor instructions

Cobra El Diablo 2-Into-1 Exhaust

Best Premium Option

The Cobra El Diablo 2 into 1 used the same design as our other recommendations but with slightly more curvature, giving it a more sleek look, and maintaining similar power improvements around lower power ranges all at a more affordable price than the Road Rage and Comp-S. The only downside is it’s build quality isn’t of the same quality.

If you’ve read this far into the review you would have noticed we’ve recommended the same type of design for all three of our 2 into 1 exhausts for Harley Davidson. Our testing and comparisons found it gives you the most benefits out of any exhaust type, ripping away excess weight with it’s compact design and narrow piping, and quality stainless steel means it’s thinner while still maintaining durability and longevity. Lastly the shortness of this design both in diameter of the pipes and length of the full system ensures maximum torque which two into one exhausts are famous for.

Cobra stuck with a similar cone shaped muffler, giving the exhaust a throaty roar that has a deep putter at Idle. Although we found the sound pleasant it lacked the deepness that more expensive alternatives offer.

This is a quality exhaust all though we did find it’s build quality felt less strong and weighty compared to premium brands such as Bassani or Vance and Hines. We only reviewed this exhaust so can’t give a clear picture on what it’s longevity is going to be like, although customer reviews are very positive and we couldn’t find any complaints in terms of built quality from customers who owned this exhaust for a number of years.

Pros
  • Cone megaphone muffler
  • Great customer reviews
  • Lightweight
  • Stainless steel
  • Compact design
  • Light weight
Cons
  • Lesser build quality compared to Road Rage and Comp-S
